The Guideline objectives are to assist countries in strengthening the focus on inclusion in strategies and plans for education, introduce broadened concepts of inclusive education, and highlight areas that need attention to promote inclusive education and strengthen policy development. In two parts, relevance today and key elements, the guide uses key recommendations from the International Conference on Education in Geneva, Nov 2008.
