Situation Analysis of Out-of-School Children in Nine Southeast Asian Countries

Situation Analysis of school in Asian countries
The study examined several variables that are relevant in the analysis of the state of OOSC in each country. At the core are out-of-school children in each country and the major characteristics that these children share. To that end, socio-political, economic and demographic trends in each country were examined, as was its education system. A better understanding of the realities and educational needs of OOSC also required an analysis of local laws and policies as well as other inputs in terms of resources relevant in addressing the needs of these children.
