The African Union – International Centre for the Education of Girls and Women in Africa (AU/CIEFFA) is a specialized institution of the African Union since 2004, dealing with women and girls’ education following Decision Assembly/AU/DEC.44 (III). The centre is located in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.
UNESCO capacity development for education programme's (CapED) support in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) is part of UNESCO’s wider support to Madagascar since 2011 to systematically improve the quality and efficiency of TVET. UNESCO has observed improvement in the country’s TVET sub-sector. The Government now prioritizes TVET as a vehicle to boost employment and alleviate poverty and the entire TVET system has been strengthened and restructured, functioning with its first-ever Employment and TVET Policy, a more robust data system, and quality standards for TVET provision with stronger links with labour market needs.
Enabling Education Network (EENET) is an information network and a consultancy service provider. They focus on issues relating to quality, inclusive, enabling education, primarily in resource-poor contexts. Their information sharing activities are open to everyone, including: teachers, parents, students, non-governmental organisations, policy-makers, trainers, government officials, and more.
Established in 2002, Global Partnership for Education (GPE) is a multi-stakeholder partnership and funding platform that aims to strengthen education systems in developing countries in order to dramatically increase the number of children who are in school and learning. GPE brings together developing countries, donors, international organizations, civil society, teacher organizations, the private sector and foundations.
Humanity & Inclusion works to change these perceptions and opens doors to schools for children and young people with disabilities through the promotion of inclusive education. The organization currently runs 31 projects in 23 countries, in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.
It was established in 1963 as an integral part of UNESCO. The Institute is fully aligned with the objectives of the organization and contributes to its education planning.
